The rubber meets the road with car photographer Markus Esser where honest lifestyle teams up with top automotive brands. Internationally renowned, we are thrilled to welcome Markus to the Doug Truppe group.  He brings a unique approach to automotive lifestyle, capturing people in their cars in real time in real everyday situations.   

A bonafide triple threat, Markus is photographer, director and expert art director.  Based in Berlin, he has directed still productions in Germany, London,  Spain, New York, L.A.,  Rio and Cape Town to name a few.  As a young photographer, Markus was sponsored by AGFA and received an Aaron Siskind Memorial Scholarship. He also received a grant to the Fulbright Scholar Program where he continued his studies at the School of Visual Arts.  

Strong concepts demand strong imagery and content. Markus delivers on all with his special "image language" as in his successful Renault Family Project. He knows the challenges and delivers automotive stories with technical expertise and understanding of the product. The result is engaging, realistic lifestyle with a dynamic product in motion for brands he loves to work with as Renault, Jeep, BMW and Hyundai.
