Peter Rodger’s passion for visual storytelling was shaped from childhood, growing up among the world’s foremost photojournalists. His father, George Rodger—legendary photographer and co-founder of Magnum Photos—introduced him to masters such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Eve Arnold, and Sebastião Salgado.
After graduating from Maidstone College of Art, Rodger established himself across Europe and the U.S., directing acclaimed campaigns for Mercedes, Coca-Cola, Apple, and Lexus. His signature blend of cinematic scale and human authenticity has earned more than 35 international awards, including honors from Houston and Chicago International Film Festivals, The Telly Awards, and The Mobius Awards.
His work as Second Unit Director includes Gary Ross’s The Hunger Games (2012), where he crafted the Capitol’s propaganda films, and Rupert Wyatt’s Desert Warrior (2025).
With a career spanning advertising, film, and branded content, Rodger continues to define a distinctive cinematic language—marrying striking imagery with emotional truth, and inspiring audiences worldwide.
