BIO
"I am the grandson of steel mills and coal mines south of Pittsburgh and was raised in the Southern California sun. The result is a dual citizenship of an eastern work ethic and blind romantic optimism. .
Education, Experiences, Relationships – they all have to be believable. My work lives in that space, whether it’s motion, stills, single capture or composites for lifestyle, kids and family, seniors, the workplace, documentary or devoted pets. I’m not the camera I hold or the awards on the shelf. I’m a dad and second rodeo husband. I work, eat, learn and love intensely. I will talk to anyone: the byproduct of a fantastic, funky first job in high school selling peanuts at California Angel baseball games. Hustled for commissions, dealt with drunk fans, flirted with popcorn girls and saw the occasional double play. All of it has translated into authentic image making with heart. This is one of the craziest, best jobs on the planet — to be a visual circus ringmaster. It involves constant change and the occasional tightrope walk. I am perfectly comfortable talking with clients anytime and always respectful of their ideas and needs. It’s their budget, and we are entrusted to use it with thought and care.
When work rings a recognizable bell of memory, then I know we are there. You will find “relationships” all through my work."
